Ken Griffin, Founder & CEO of Citadel, Donates $5 Million to Project H.O.O.D.
Project H.O.O.D. has received a personal gift of $5 million from Founder and CEO of Citadel, Kenneth C. Griffin. With his gift, Griffin has secured naming rights for the Atrium of the Project H.O.O.D. Leadership & Economic Opportunity Center.
This is the largest single gift that Project H.O.O.D. has received since Founder and CEO, Pastor Corey Brooks began his historic Rooftop Campaign on November 20, 2021. Thus far Project H.O.O.D. has raised $18 Million of the $35 million needed to build the Leadership & Economic Opportunity Center.
“What Ken Griffin has done for our organization has given us momentum and credibility needed to continue our fight against violence and raise the remaining $17 Million to build the Leadership & Economic Opportunity Center with the hopes of breaking ground in November of 2022.” – Pastor Corey Brooks
