ProjectREFUGE.
Project H.O.O.D. is passionate about reaching the next generation of leaders. Every Friday night, ProjectREFUGE provides a safe place for teenagers, 12 - 17 years old, to connect with friends and adults who care about them. Attendees receive music, arts, dinner, games, entertainment, mentorship, and activities designed to promote expression, a successful life and better decision-making skills.
Since January 2016, over 1,000 teens have attended REFUGE and we are excited to offer the program to more. We have tracked the academic performance of kids in the program and have seen a steady increase in GPA for regular attendees — from a starting GPA of 1.8 up to 2.3 after six months, then to 2.5 after 18 months of participation.
ProjectREFUGE meets every Friday night at New Beginnings Church
