Community Health & Wellness

In 2021, Project H.O.O.D. launched its Community Health & Wellness department with the goal of closing the gap in health disparities affecting people across the South and West Sides of Chicago by implementing culturally appropriate interventions and data driven programming that PROMOTE, PROTECT, AND PRESERVE the Health & Wellness of individuals and families in our target communities.

In August 2022, Project H.O.O.D. along with University of Chicago Pritizker Medial School will begin a free medical clinic. The clinic will provide services exclusively to local African American Woodlawn adult residents.
