Over $250K Raised So Far!

100 Day Campout Against Gun Violence

The senseless gun violence in Chicago is a complicated issue, but Pastor Corey Brooks does not believe the problem rests on the government and the police alone. He knows firsthand how lack of resources and recreation in an impoverished area can only lead to violence. For the past ten years, Pastor Brooks has worked to provide at-risk youth and individuals with pathways to self-reliance and economic stability. Not only that, but Project H.O.O.D. has brokered gang truces and peace in troubled areas on the south side of Chicago.

Project H.O.O.D. has been a beacon of light in the darkness and emotional toll of shootings, murder, and incarceration. The south side of Chicago can no longer wait for help. This work has to expand to serve more people.

Pastor Brooks is now camping outside in a tent against gun violence for 100 days during winter in Chicago.

Join the 100 Day Campout Against Gun Violence and help Project H.O.O.D. raise $35million to build a Leadership and Economic Opportunity Center to increase our impact and to continue construction training, violence prevention, entrepreneur resources, and job training.

We have proven that these pathways to economic stability are deterrents to hopelessness and crime.

Business leaders, friends, and supporters have given over $250,000 so far.

Help us reach $35million.
