Project H.O.O.D. Helps Community Get Vaccinated

On Saturday, October 16, 2021, Project H.O.O.D.’s Community Health and Wellness Team, in partnership with the city of Chicago, held a Free COVID-19 Vaccination event at 6620 South King Drive in Chicago.

Project H.O.O.D. was joined by a Community Organized Relief Effort (C.O.R.E.) Response team and the city's Vaccination Bus. The University of Chicago was also on hand to encourage screenings and to spread awareness about breast cancer.

Over 20 people received vaccines and Project H.O.O.D. supplied music, food, and games for the children.

As our city combats the Coronavirus health pandemic, Project H.O.O.D. will continue to do our part. Many high-risk individuals live in our community and we want to help keep you safe.
