Pastor Corey Brooks: Freedom from Victimization Panel Discussion
On Thursday, December 11, 2020, Project H.O.O.D. Founder and Executive Director Pastor Corey B. Brooks took part in a captivating discussion with Varney Voker (Ex-Black Disciples gang member), and Varmah Voker (Ex-Black Disciples gang member) as special guests.
The panel resulted from the critically acclaimed documentary, “What Killed Michael Brown?” which highlighted Brooks and the Voker twins. Moderated by producer and director Eli Steele, the panel featured filmmaker Shelby Steele and Bob Woodson of 1776 Unites.
Furthering the ideas of the film, the dialogue examined “how Post-60s liberalism destroyed black agency and how the black underclass can break free and move forward.”
