Project H.O.O.D. Announces Virtual Learning Program
Project H.O.O.D. is pleased to announce our new Virtual Learning Center program for grade school students. The program began on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at Project H.O.O.D. and New Beginnings Church.
Students from the Woodlawn and Englewood areas of Chicago will sit with another student to watch their online classes as designated by Chicago Public School.
The safety of our students and staff is our first priority and we will adhere to all COVID-19 restrictions. Including, social distancing, masks, and thorough cleaning before, during, and after sessions.
We will have at minimum 30 boys and 30 girls in separate facilities. Students will be carefully monitored, mentored, and tutored.
Project H.O.O.D. provides breakfast, lunch, a snack, school supplies, and a safe and encouraging atmosphere.
Extra tutoring or homework help are also provided via Zoom.
Space is limited! Slots will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
We look forward to spending time with you and your children and helping them through a tough year!
