PROJECT H.O.O.D. HOSTS COOK COUNTY TAX ASSESSOR’S OFFICE

On Saturday, March 19, 2022, Project H.O.O.D. hosted the Cook County Tax Assessor’s Office during its first-quarter community meeting. Ms. Teresa Chandler, Community Outreach Strategist, presented the attendees with vital information on the variety of means and ways to save money on real estate taxes assessed to homeowners.

Ms. Chandler, along with Gail Towers, also a Community Outreach strategist, then provided hands-on assistance to those who needed it and welcomed all attendees to contact her personally for further help.

The meeting was a great success and homeowners walked away feeling enlightened, encouraged, and excited that they have someone in their corner when they need her.

This meeting was coordinated by Project H.O.O.D.’s Director of Governmental Affairs, Arenda Troutman.
