All-Women Electrical Class
Project H.O.O.D. Announces Its First All-Women Electrical Class
Project H.O.O.D. is pleased to announce its first all-women electrical class. Not only just in time for Women’s History Month, but the new class is also in honor of the many female groundbreakers in construction that have come before.
Executive Director Corey Brooks says, “We wanted to name the class after a specific black woman in construction but after researching the subject, there were just too many to choose from. The important thing is that we want to encourage more female participation in the construction industry. It is a wide-open frontier for women to establish meaningful careers.”
This class will begin on March 15th and will conclude in approximately 13 weeks.
The all-women electrical class will meet in person on Thursday evenings from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday evenings from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with virtual training on Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
If you are interested in an electrical career, please fill out this form today. Limited spots are available and the class starts on March 15, 2021!
