Dear Friends and Donors,

We are nearly a year into the Coronavirus health pandemic that continues to affect our way of life. Many of us have lost loved ones to the virus, and many have become sick themselves. Let us all keep one another in our prayers as we navigate these challenging times.

Project H.O.O.D. and people like you have remained committed to our mission of ending violence and poverty during this very tough year. Together, we assisted thousands of people through extremely challenging times and would like to update you on our progress:

  • We held four Relief Events and distributed food, PPE, school supplies, cleaning supplies, financial help, household goods, and helped over 5,000 families at each event

  • We began a Virtual Learning Program to assist parents with homeschooling

  • Every other weekend in October, we passed out over 3,000 food boxes

  • Gave out free milk and dairy products every week, thanks to Prairie Farms

  • Raffled a new car, thanks to Metro Ford

  • Provided cash gifts on Christmas, thanks to Metro Ford

  • They featured our work in the documentary, What Killed Michael Brown

  • Welcomed new members from 46 states and five different countries to our community

  • Project H.O.O.D. teamed up with Pep Rally Takeover to help children in need on Christmas with a toy and coat drive.

  • Held a Harvest Fest for the children on October 31st

  • Our Violence Prevention Team continues to work around the clock to stop conflicts before they escalate

  • Teamed with CareerBuilder to offer jobs and new careers to our community
